Masiya and Al-Jazira Sports & Cultural Club Reward Contest Winners

The UAE's Al-Jazira Sports & Cultural Club hosted a press conference at their grounds in celebration of the Results Expectation contest for Etisalat's ProLeague 2008/2009 season. Prizes and their winners were announced during the event, which was attended by key JSC officials as well as leading Masiya Telecom staff.

The contest was organized and implemented through JSC's portal (www.jc.ae), which is powered by Masiya's Abu Dhabi operation. It is a unique e-solution that features a bundle of versatile services and facilities to visitors, and which has drawn tremendous praise and appreciation from JSC officials ever since its official launching by Masiya on 1st June 2008.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Mohamed Adnan Al-Armouty - JSC Deputy Managing Director - commended Masiya's ongoing efforts in efficiently maintaining the portal, and lauded the exponential growth in the number of site visitors, which surpassed 176,000 between June 2008 and May 2009. According to Mr. Al-Armouty, November alone witnessed a total of over 25,000 visitors

The contest drew participants from across the Middle East, signaling growing popularity and enthusiasm for JSC news and events and a growing fan base in the Arab world. Club officials hope this will continue into next season, especially with more surprises and rewards being in store for JSC fans.

A total of 364 participants had taken part in the contest, which stretched over a 22-week period, producing 5 winners in all; collecting prizes ranging from DHS 15,000 to DHS 3,000.
