Masiya Commemorates the Annual Ramadan "Ghabga"

A far cry from the rigid confines of daily office duties and workplace formalities, Masiya Management, employees and their families congregated in an exquisite and inspiring Ramadan ambiance, to celebrate the customary "Ghabga" at the Moevenpick Al-Bida’a Hotel.

The "Ghabga" is a traditional mid-Ramadan celebration, which is commonly revered and commemorated throughout the Gulf Region, and basically comprises of a social gathering over a late dinner party. It is considered a valuable opportunity for acquaintances to socialize with each other and entertain themselves with such activities as card games, board games, and of course the ever popular "shisha" or water pipe.

This year's event was held in a tent-styled ballroom, appropriately groomed for the function, and was complimented by the distribution of the traditional treats, or “Gergea’an” parcels.

The get-together continued well past midnight and seemed to be thoroughly enjoyed by the attendance.
